Playtech Just Launched Tiki Paradise Slot Machine

The bad news is that there is too little to be known about this game, since the only information out in the open about it was featured in a short promotional video Playtech launched featuring all their upcoming releases: Ace Ventura, The Flintstones, Top Gun, Age of The Gods and Tiki Paradise itself.

The developer company Playtech, founded in 1999, with almost 17 years of career, has a vast portfolio full of a huge amount of successful video slot machines. The effort made by this company has paid out as their most popular games have placed the developers at the top of the industry.

What We Love

There is not much information about the game said by Playtech, but, from what we already saw in the promotional video there might be a thing or two that makes us anxious, intrigued and rather curious. We wonder how Playtech will manage to boost Tiki Paradise’s playability, the special features that we will be able to find in the game, and how the user’s interaction with Playtech One will change this slot machine.

One of the things that intrigues us the most: We were able to spot the total balance display and the last win one right above the grid in the promotional video launched by Playtech, however, the traditional icons, like the spin button, the auto-spin, and Playtech’s Turbo Boost feature were nowhere to be found.

We can only guess two theories: Either the user’s interface will be located at the bottom area as usual and Playtech ignored it for advertisement reasons, or they are experimenting with a new controlling scheme for a touchscreen-optimized way to play their games. This last one makes total sense if we take into consideration the new Playtech One system that allows the users play the games in all platforms available (most of them touchscreen).

What We Do Not Like

We can’t safely say anything we wouldn’t like about this new title, since there is not much to be known about it. However, there was something not quite pleasant that we spotted in the preview.

If you are not new to our reviews, you probably already know that we don’t like the use of the traditional poker cards (A, K, Q, J, 10, and 9) in the video slot machines. I believe that the industry has revolved so much, they should be thinking about replacing these with elements to fit the theme of the games.

Worth Playing It?

Even though there is not much information about Tiki Paradise, our expectations are way high, because Playtech has shown to put their best efforts in their games improving all of them with new and original ideas. We believe Tiki Paradise will be no different.
