Playtech Just Launched Nostradamus Slot Machine
If you are not new to the slot machines and the online gambling scene, you might have found that in the market there are lots and lots of themes that have been rather used and abused by developers, making, sometimes, boring or repetitive games.
However, this time we have found something just great. Ash Gaming, which is a company that was acquired by Playtech in the 2000, but yet still operative, have come with a tremendous game with a theme that I believe no one thought about before. It comes filled with many special features that will magically boost all your profits to the good.
Being inspired by the French apothecary Nostradamus that became really famous after seeing and writing about prophecies for the future. Some of them were up for free interpretation thus they were not that clear, but other ones have amazingly turned out to be true, like the very first World War, the Cold War, and even the invention of the very first airplane.
Ash Gaming has often labeled its games with the tag line “a Playtech company”, however, it seems to me that Playtech’s purchase was wise for both parties, since only great stuff have come as a result: The Life of Brian and Sinbad’s Golden Voyage, for example.
What We Love
First, you won’t believe how beautiful and accurate the visual design is. If you do not like stuff that look old, then this might not be the place for you (yet, wait until we go through the special features).
The visuals give this slot machine an old school look with a background showing the Medieval Europe with an enormous castle surrounded by big high stone walls. Among the symbols that decorate the grid you will be able to find telescopes, planet globes, hourglasses, quill and paper, the Book of Prophecies and so on.
It does not only feature a great design that fits perfectly with the theme, but it also comes with tons of amazing and incredibly fun special features. First, there are no annoying pay-lines!
The game is simple and straight forward, as you only make combinations with the alike symbols adjacent to each other from left to right.
The wilds, of course, represented with the moon symbol will replace any of the symbols on the grid (except for the special ones) to help you get more and more combinations. The scatters, represented with the Free Spin Globe will grant you up to 15 free spin rounds if you manage to get three to five of them.
These do not come alone. They bring game modifiers. The Lightning will shock up to 4 symbols turning them into wilds; the Earthquake will change the order of all the symbols in the grid after each spin; and finally, the Tsunami will turn 1 to 3 reels into stackable wilds.
As if that was not enough, there’s another last feature: The Planet Bonus. If you manage to land the Planet Bonus symbols, a roulette mini-game will be activated, where you will see the Solar System right on your grid. Each planet will represent a different multiplier, and if it turns to line up in your winning line, the respective multipliers will be applied to your profits.
What We Did Not Like
I believe this is an amazing game, and I would not criticize anything about it, other than the jackpot. 500 times the amount of your total wager is not that great.
Worth Playing It?
Of course! This game is certainly amazing. Even if you think the graphic design bores you, you should take this one out of a spin, thus it come with so many great features that will keep you entertained while getting great earnings out of it.
