Theme of The Game
Twin Spin Deluxe has a predecessor, a game that NetEnt called simply Twin Spin. With the Deluxe version, they expanded on the game’s most important feature and worked more on the graphics as well. It’s a game with a bigger layout, but with the same classic theme that borrows from slot machines that have kept being launched during the last hundred years or so.
The classic nature of the game incorporates something from the modern era as well, at least based on the computer world style animation in the background.
On the reels, the images will get you card letters, along with cherries, golden bells, a Bar, a red 7 and a blue diamond. I enjoyed the fact that the quality of the design is on the high side, but I’m not a fan of the theme that they chose for this game.
This game notwithstanding, most of the NetEnt slot machines will be very interesting theme wise, not just when it comes to features. Even in this particular slot machine, they used some impressive features and a unique layout to make it fun.
The graphics are a lot better in most games they put out usually, so don’t use Twin Spin Deluxe as a basis for your opinions, it’s more of an exception that confirms the rule that NetEnt puts out great looking slots.
How To Play It
There are no real lines for you to form combinations on, but you do get to pretend like they’re there, thanks to the betting system which requires that you use multiples of 10 coins each round.
You start with a minimum of 10 coins, valued at $0.10 total. You can increase the level of the bet from there, ending up with up to 100 coins and denominations of up to $1. That way, the maximum bet you can place will be worth $100.
In terms of the gameplay, the game is different from those you will find usually. There will be 6 reels and 5 symbols for each column. The Cluster Pays system is also making things interesting, forming combinations in a different way.

One of the defining features of this game is the Twin Reel option. At the start of each round, the game will pick two reels that are adjacent, to spin together. Those two reels will have matching symbols on the same positions. The two initial reels can also expand during the spin, ending up with up to six linked reels if you’re extremely lucky.
Second, we have the Cluster Pays system, which is this game’s way of forming combinations. All you need is for at least 9 symbols to be next to each other, and to be of the same type. Combinations can have up to 30 symbols in them. The Twin Reels obviously help a lot with this.
I found the game’s top paying combinations to be among the most interesting things about this game. A jackpot of $100,000 is available, to players that get a full cluster of 30 Blue Diamonds to form (10,000x).
Twin Spin Deluxe manages to offer the player a convincing mix of features, even as short as that list might be, to the point where I don’t really miss having wilds or free spins, the typical options in most slots.
