Theme of The Game
Pink Elephants gives the player a theme that is indeed inspired by elephants, specifically the ones that are coming from Africa. There are a couple of things here that make the theme stand out from others that cover African wildlife.
First of all, the elephant that you get in one of the symbols is colored in pink, and second, it has tattoos on its trump. It’s an impressive symbol, and the one to offer the biggest reward available in this game.
The feature symbols give you a W logo (the wild) and a Peanut (scatter). Moving on to the rest of the symbols, among them there will be the four members of a mongoose family, which were designed to look like local African tribes people, even wearing jewelry and paint drawings on their faces.
Among the things that I’ve found interesting in the slot machines which Thunderkick offers is the fact that they don’t feel the need to follow the same recipes as the other developers that came before them.
That’s why some of their games have unusual numbers of lines, 17 for example, and why the one you’re looking at has 6 reels instead of 5. Another aspect that I always appreciate about their games is that, besides being unique, they are also very well designed. It’s enough to take a look at a game like Babushkas or Luchadora, to get that message.
How To Play It
Once you click on the Bet display, the game will give you a black screen with numbers written in white on it, sporting values for the wager that start from $0.10 and reach $100. There are 4096 ways to win that are covered by these wagers, but there is no mention about how much the individual lines are getting.
The game is unusual, but its winning combinations are going to be formed through matching icons that are starting out from the left side and go to the right on consecutive reels. The difference comes from the number of reels, 6 of them, and the 4096 ways to win that have found a place on the screen.

One of the more basic features that you’re going to have in use, the wild symbol is shown as a simple W logo, and it will be used in a similarly basic role. It will be a substitute only, and it will be combined with regular symbols, while scatters don’t get their assistance.
The scatters can appear on their own on the reels, but there is also the possibility of getting a Mystery scatter feature to help out. When triggered, and only in the main game, you can get between 1 and 5 Mystery scatters that are placed on the reels, which would boost your chances of getting into the bonus feature.
Speaking of the bonus feature, it consists of free spins, which you trigger with a minimum of 3 Peanut Scatters, but retriggering is easier, requiring 2+ symbols. Depending on the number of Peanuts in view, you can get 7 to 19 spins for free. When retriggered, you can win 3 to 11 new rounds.
The bonus feature also benefits from something called an Elephant Orb. These are collectable and in time they can turn a regular symbol into an Elephant for the duration of the feature.
You can’t get more than $1,000 in this slot, and it requires the formation of a combination of six Elephant symbols.
Pink Elephants is a slot machine that looks modern and which has some regular and some unique features to offer. Overall, it’s a decent release from Thunderkick, but I’ve seen them do even better.
