Lava Loot, a 5×3 reel game with 50 pay lines by developer offers a light romp through a prehistoric landscape, at the foot of a mighty volcano. The reel symbols feature a couple of cavemen (or to be politically correct, cavepeople, since they’re a man and a woman), cartoon dinosaurs (or dinosaur-like creatures, at any rate), and the traditional symbols inspired in playing cards, 10, J, Q, K & A.
The artwork in this game is simple, with a cartoon feel and stylized designs; very lighthearted and clearly meant to evoke fun for players. It’s not an innovative theme at any rate, but it’s not something that’s overplayed, like leprechauns or cute animals.

How to Play it
Lava Loot has a user interface that’s somewhat different from what most players might be familiar with. However, it is fairly intuitive, and shouldn’t prove to be challenging for anyone. At the right side of the screen there’s a large Spin button, and just on top of it a menu button.
Through the menu you can set your wager, the number of pay lines you’re gambling on, and other minor settings (music, sound, etc). If you hold the spin button, you enter Auto Spin mode. This can be exited simply by pressing the button again. This simplified layout is clearly meant for mobile touchscreen devices, but it greatly helps unclutter your screen on a desktop (or laptop).

The first feature you’re bound to notice is the gamble feature. After landing a winning combination during a normal spin, you can hit the gamble button that will appear at the left side of the screen.
There, you can go double or nothing, guessing the color of a card. You can do that up to five times in a row (presuming you keep getting it right). If you’d rather keep your win, you can hit the collect button that will appear in place of the spin button. There’s a limit on how large a win you can gamble, depending on your wage, and you cannot gamble wins on auto spin.
The two other special features here, though some may argue that the gamble feature isn’t a special feature since it is relatively common nowadays, are the Lava Loot Bonus and the Big Wild Bonus. The Lava Loot Bonus is this game’s name for its bonus rounds. Land 3 or more bonus symbols (also known as scatter symbols) and you can enter this mode.
In Lava Loot Bonus Wild symbols can appear anywhere on reels 2, 3, & 4, and they can expand downwards at the next spin. They disappear after touching the last row, though. By getting 2 bonus symbols (which can appear on reels 1 and 5), you’ll gain a further 10 free spins.
The Big Wild Bonus is a randomly triggered feature during regular spins. A gigantic lava symbol will run down the three center reels, acting like a wild symbol.
Landing five bonus symbols will get you the jackpot of 10.000 coins. RTP value is 95.03%.
This game is fun, but not that much. The visuals are a bit childish, and the special features are hardly that special. Its Return to Player value is not as high as other better, more entertaining options about there, so you might be tempted to try a different game instead.
