Justice League will be NextGen Gaming’s biggest superhero themed video slot yet, and their first real attempt at challenging the bigger boys in the industry.
Looking to take on the likes of Microgaming, Playtech (for the time being), and Cryptologic will be NextGen Gaming’s new Justice League video slot.
The game itself will feature many of the superheroes we have come to know and love in the Justice League, and will be based on the standard 5-reel, 25-line format of most other video slots.
Graphically, the Justice League slot is a bit of a bust, and it doesn’t offer you truly large sums when it comes to cash prizes, either – but that being said, the gameplay is absolutely fantastic, as you will see when you read our review of the upcoming Justice League slot.
How to play it
As is the case with all NextGen Gaming slots, the buttons you need to alter your bets and set up your stakes are located below the reels of the game. These buttons can see you able to alter the value of your coins, but paylines are non-adjustable.
At its cheapest, you can expect to play the Justice League slot with a floor bet of just 25p per spin. At its most costly, there is a ceiling bet of just £50 per spin for you to contend with in this game. Justice League is not going to be an expensive slot for you to play.
How much can you win?
For some reason, Superman is ranked above Batman and the other superheroes in the Justice League. It is the best paying icon in the game, and worth up to 300 coins if 5 appear on a payline. Of course, with the aid of the special symbols and features, it could be worth a lot more.

How much can you win?
Wild symbols: Wild symbols appear as the Justice League group. These heroes can replace all others in the slot, barring bonus icons, and are capable of appearing on three central reels of the slot (reels 2, 3, and 4). Wilds can also appear randomly, taking the place of superhero symbols.
Scatter symbols: Keep your eyes peeled for the Daily Planet symbol. This is the bonus icon and when it appears on the three central reels, players will pocket an instant win worth 60 coins. They will also activate the Attack on Metropolis bonus feature.
Free spins / Bonus features
Super Hero Power-Up feature: If players land stacked superhero icons on the first and fifth reels of the slot, the three central reels will re-spin, with superhero and wild symbols being held. This can help you land a big win.
Attack on Metropolis bonus: The main bonus round is the Attack on Metropolis feature. It is a free spins bonus, whereby players will start with 10 free games. Wilds can appear randomly on the reels of this feature, and appear in greater frequency than they do in the base game.
Super Hero Spins bonus: Any wilds you land in the free spins bonus can be collected and then used when the bonus ends. The Super Hero Spins bonus begins immediately after the feature, and contains two superhero icons locked into place on the first and fifth reels, and the three central reels will re-spin. The amount of spins you get depends on the number of wilds you collected in the first free spins bonus, and all wins with wilds are worth 10x their normal rate of pay.
Overall experience and final thoughts
The Justice League video slot is a funny kind of game. NextGen Gaming have really gone out of their way to produce a video slot which contains more special features than we have ever seen before from them. However, they have also developed a video slot with rather simplistic and basic graphics. They won’t really win any plaudits for their graphics, but the gameplay is very appealing indeed. When the Justice League slot is eventually released in Autumn, players are going to flock to it, and we will, too. This is very much a slot that is worth your time, even if its pay-outs tend to be a little on the small side.
